Although Texas is home now, Corey was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and grew up in Sammamish, WA. After graduating from The University of Washington in 2008, he started working in banking, with stops at Washington Mutual, JPMorgan Chase, and eventually Wells Fargo. After obtaining his FINRA Series licenses and spending a few years with a focus on financial advisory, he transitioned into residential lending in January of 2013 and has been doing it ever since.
The gratification of helping homeowners with their financing needs is what drew him to the industry and has kept him there throughout a variety of challenging markets. Outside of work, Corey enjoys spending time with friends and family; anything from watching a UW or Cowboys game to grabbing happy hour on a patio. In his spare time, you're likely to find him golfing, hiking with his dog, or spending time on the water with his wife and kids.
